When he insists, he would REALLY insist. I'm referring to Riyan.
Even when Nurul is tired and wants to sleep, he'll insist on continuing their game or else, he'll cry and 'push' her back to her seat.
I took 3 days off during the school's term break to be with the kids and coincidentally Pa was on reservist. Only then i could understand why some working moms would prefer to be at work rather than staying at home with their kids for long period during the day.
It was a nightmare! I wonder how my mum could handle them. My house was a din. Full of shrieking Nurul and Riyan until the feather duster appeared at my mum's hand.
ok, i'm digressing. Back to story... Me and the kids were watching tv in my room one night. Then Riyan wanted to watch Pocoyo. ok, fine. Then it ended. Then it was Pocoyo again. And again. and again! Both me and Nurul wanted to watch tv so we went out of the room. He screamed! Terperanjat sekejap. He insisted we got back to the room and watched with him. Ok, so we pitied him and got back onto the bed. He was lying on the floor so we sneaked out a while later but he heard the creaky door and cried again. Shucks! Stupid door! He ran to the door and closed it. Not only closed it, he guarded the doors with arms wide open.
My mum came in to 'rescue' us. He refued to let her into the room and said: "Nyayi, go back to your woom (room)!"
And there we were. Me and Nurul locked up in our very own tower, not even Queen Mother could save us. We fell asleep bored.
