Awwww.... going home already???!!? The trip was way to short. And there wasn't a 4pm coach that we could take home. Our coach would depart at 2pm. No more swimming that day. Went round the nearby malls... Lot 10, Sungei Wang... EEEwwwwww! Sungei Wang!
I should not have even bothered to enter the camera shop there! I read reviews about it but i thought since it'd be just getting my lens cover, how much could they cheat me, rite? Wrooooonnnnnnggg..! I want this entry to be on a happy note. So for the horrifying Sungei Wang episode, CLICK HERE.
There was this cute cat balloon that Nurul wanted. It cost MR40. For a balloon??!!? Although it was the size of an actual cat... but it was expensive - for just air and metallic balloon. I convinced her that it was not worth the price. It would deflate in 3-5 days! Or worse, she wouldn't even play with it. She reluctantly moved on but mumbled that I could spend a three figure fum for a small bag and yet she couldn't get the balloon cat for MR40. okaaaaay... that kept me mum for a while. Told ya she was getting too smart for me...
To keep her happy, we went to Times Bookshop for a better investment and cajoled her with Baskin Robins ice cream!!!

2pm. Perfect coach ride home... we upgraded to Solitaire. Good seat, nice food... ahhhh....

Halfway through the ride home, the coach tyre punctured!!! It shredded into pieces Pa said. The crew had to make SOS call and arrange for transfer coaches. We waited for a good hour or so... But my kids enjoyed the moment as they would have more time with the in-coach entertainment.
Us. Waiting for transfer coach. Each feeling the anxiety as all vehicles zoomed past us at high speed. Dangerous for any vehicle to stop by the highway. Alhamdulillah, no accidents.
Me, feeling restless.
At first Nurul was relaxed, occupying herself with things to do...
We transferred to the second coach that came along. It was not a Transtar coach. We didn't want to take any chances waiting for another Transtar coach. There may not be enough seats for the four of us. So from a Transtar coach with a SYT (sweet-young-thing) as coach crew, who referred to us as Abang or Kakak, with an announcement voice over the PA system likened to that on an airplane, we got a replacement from Five Stars coach with a crew who was an apek-cum-second driver who spoke "ahh... toilet break ah. Ten minutes toilet break ah."
Oh, sungguh menyedihkan... (so sad... in Malay) My kids would burst out laughing each time the apek made an announcement. To make it more embarrassing, both of them repeated what he had said and yeeeees, we were on the lower deck, very close to the apek.
Five Star coach had so many stops. Toilet break, 10 minutes. Another fill up petrol cum toilet break, another 10 minutes.
Reached SG about 8pm. Although i didn't conquer the many other buffet eating places on this trip, it was tiring but fulfilling trip. So Pa, when shall be the trip be?
