1st week of Nov - she got 0%.
Teacher Mike said it's normal for someone who just turned four years old and the words have more than 3 letters. Her classmates are all at least a year older than she is. That day was her first ever spelling test in her entire four-years-of-living! She could spell them out orally but she didn't understand that she had to write when Teacher Mike said so!
2nd week - she got 14%. The funny thing is, she came out of her ICR class looking oh-so-satisfied that day.
Me: Why?
Nurul: Teacher Mike did not give me zero percent today.
Me (of course extremely happy): GRRRREEEEEAAAATTTTT! So how many words did you spell correctly?
Nurul: Just the word 'but'. (she got 1 out of 7 correct)
And she was grinning from ear to ear.
Well, it's a small step. But it's a step.
