First invited birthday party- Cazra's
A schoolmate invited them to her birthday party shortly after the June holiday started. Nurul's best friend - Cazra. Naturally both my kids were excited to get to the party. It was their first friend's party. Almost the entire class came. And we were the first to arrive! ahahhaha Kiasu!
But it was a good party with nice Indian food. The kids played games and Nurul won the passing-the-parcel game. But she was such a spoil sport during the musical chair. She was out but refused and continued playing. That's my daughter for you. ahahahhaha!

Riyan's toothbrushing session
I had a similar blog for Nurul when she was around he same age as Riyan now. I would usually brush his teeth for him but that day... it was all his!

Children's museum
It's been a month since i last updated. went to a fair number of places with the kids but i was too tired to upload the pics. Plus the laptop hadn't been very cooperative too recently. S-L-O-W.....
One of the 'educational' tours (hahahah!) we had planned was to the Children's Museum as mentioned in my Arab Street blog. Promised Nurul that i'd take her here. So here we were bringing our kids to show them what we used to play and how things have evolved. I couldn't remember some of the stuff they have it there. This shows that i'm not thaaaaat old. hehehe either that or i'm too old that i can't remember much. ;p
The entrance fee was only $2 per person, regardless of age. It's cheap considering that the place needs to be maintained well.
The trip really brought back many old fond memories of my kampung, my nyai and my aunts who brought me up there. Feeling so emotional thinking of how close we were and especially durin fasting month when we all used to sit on the 'ambin' (Malay for platform) and had our dinner. My uncle Salleh would make little timber chairs for the kids corner. Nostalgic!
