Family dinner

Once in a while we'd eat out for dinner... the 4 of us. I haven't been putting up the photos. Cos they were mainly taken using Pa's iPhone.... which is now mine! *evil laff*

This particular dinner, we went to TampinesOne's Fish & Co. I love the setting there. Used to be F.I.S.H but they converted it to the normal Fish & Co some time back. Why???!!!?!?!??? I love the lamb chop at F.I.S.H. Ordered it on both occassions I was there. They moved F.I.S.H to 313 Somerset.... *boo-hoo-hoo* so far...!

I love the mezzanine concept with the full glass panels looking out at the open courtyard. With curtains and all, the overall ambience was cosy. Better at night than during the day.

Since Fish & Co went Halal, they never gave out the eldermint sweet. Cos its not Halal as contain Bovine which i believe did not come from a Halal source for this sweet. For a while, Fish & Co substituted it with minty mentos. I don't care. It's the grilled seafood i was after.

Riyan and I shared Best Fish & Chips in Town. I'm that boring. But i just love their battered fish. Very, very soft and smooth... either that or i'd order New York Fish and Chips. This one has cheese in it so it's rather filling. Only ordered that when i'm freaking hungry. Pa got some salmon and rice... salmon his favourite fish... and now seems to be Riyan's as well... of course ther is a story behind Riyan's eating salmon... hahahahah! Nurul, like always, ordered spaghetti. Her favourite. Since the kids love to eat fried squid, ordering the fried calamari would be a bonus! The calamari was soooooo crispilly-good. Especially eaten with tartare sauce. I'm drooling now...

The jist of it all, the kids love to eat out. Not only just eating out but having a family quality time. I hate it when i have to work during the school holidays and i always feel miserable when they comment: "Why do you always work when it's the holidays?"
