OH yeessssssss....!!! So far this is the only surviving Halal certified sushi belt outlet in Singapore. In the heart of Downtown east. The other sushi outlet at Century Square [now i cant remember the shop's name] that served delicious fried scallop with mayo closed down quite recently. Darn!
We love Hei sushi! Kids love it too. They love the fact that they can grab just about all the plates from the belt. We'd spent about $60-$70 each time we eat there... would cost more if the kids order the kids meal. But since they hardly fnished the Hamtaro meals every time, we stopped ordering them. We also stopped ordering salmon roe [the kids' favourite] cos Mak said it's not good for their brain development. So Riyan shifted his liking to raw salmon instead. Yeayness!!! Another new food that he loves! I'm extremely happy each time his favourite food list gets longer... cos he's not exactly a non-fussy eater!
Apart from the normal coloured plates, some of the must-haves on our each visit:
1. Kakiage [i think that's what it's called - tempura veg]
2. Tempura ebi [tempura prawn]
3. Salmon and tuna sushi
Though the fish slices were nothing compared to those served in Japan, hey, what the heck! At least it's sushi... plus it's Halal!
Riyan's new fav.
We all love this! Fried scallop. They had 2 plates of this.
Veg tempura.
MY new fav. (Sweet) Potato + veg patties.

I'm full, Ma. Peace out!
