Same destination, same transportation but different hotel.

View from our room |
We stayed at Dorsett Regency this time round with Cik Yon and Cik Bedah and family, including Mak. The hotel is well, not up to my expectation. Or maybe i was expecting too much. Read on for more photos and hotel reviews. The location was good. Right in the heart of Bukit Bintang alongside Ritz , Marriott and Westin. Although not next to Pavilion like Grand Millenium, it's just a stone's throw from it. But i think the hotel could do better with a more informative staff. The Myanmese doorman didn't even understand what a maxi cab was. But that was just one of the few negative things i had about the hotel. Although i liked the fact that they gave us the 25th floor, i didnt like the smell of the hotel and the room. It stinks a little but the rest of my troupe couldn't smell it. Maybe i have a very sensitive nose.
Dorsett was very close to the Pasar Rakyat Terminal where we alighted and would soon board for Singapore. It was only about 7 minutes slow walk from there to the hotel.

What i could capture along ECP |

Along Malaysian highway... other than this time i was watching the Hindustani movie. |

Another angle of our room view - the Istana Hotel. |
 |
The deluxe room. Decent enough with great views. |
 |
I like the shampoo bottles. The fact that the cover is screw-on type. Easy to refill and reuse for other trips. |
 |
Along the lanes from the hotel to Pasar Rakyat Bus Terminal to fetch Cik Yon. |
 |
Another tourist attraction within walking distance. |

The dining area. |
