My YOG supporter

Nurul - compassionate, very compassionate. Each time we told her we're going for holiday, she'd ask if we were headed to a poor country. She said she'd feel sad if she saw them. She even asked me to not take money from the Karang Guni (Rag-and-bone man in English) cos they look old and poor. Same goes for the old uncle who peddled ice cream down the block. I told her for all we knew, they might even be richer than us!

Nurul - supportive, very supportive.
Cik Yah gave her a YOG (LYO) soft toy. All SSC staff were given one. She loved it very much. Then she realised that it should be a pair! The missing one - Merly. when everyone got well and after her Madrasah class, having known about the YOG store at Takashimaya, we took a rare Orchard pit stop to what was supposedly to be a 'see-only' the YOG merchandise store. But lo and behold! She came out with a bag half her size. Merly was inside. That thing cost $40+. She said she was supporting the YOG. ;p

I remember when she was in Australia when she was two years old, she wanted to feed each and every kangaroo at the kangaroo sanctuary, making sure that all have teir fair share of kangaroo food and none was left hungry. My daughter, the soon-to-be UNiCEF....
